Donnybrook Primary School is a newly-built, co-educational government primary school at the heart of Olivine. Focused on providing inclusive education to children of the surrounding community, it opened its doors in early 2023, taking enrolments from Prep to Grade 6. The school boasts brand-new facilities for lessons, sports, and recreation, with the engaging and passionate David Williams as school principal. 

According to Principal Williams, Donnybrook Primary  School values and celebrates diversity and inclusion. A high emphasis is placed on the development of social-emotional learning of every child, making the school a safe and happy place for great learning to occur.

Currently under construction, the new building for Donnybrook Primary School Kindergarten is set to open in Term 1, 2024 and will provide 33 approved kindergarten places for the growing Olivine community. A further 66 places will open in Term 1, 2025.

Hume Anglican Grammar Primary & Secondary School

The brand new, co-educational Hume Anglican Grammar School is located at 40 Eucalyptus Parade within the Olivine community. This state-of-the-art facility opened its doors in 2019 and offers affordable, independent, fee-paying primary and secondary education. The school is based on a huge 8-hectare site and has a broad range of subjects and extracurricular activities on offer.
